Black Products Engineering is a well established business based in Brisbane’s Northern Suburbs. Over the last four decades we have demonstrated our versatility as a successful business that takes on any challenge and our reputation has grown as a leading machining and fabrication engineering workshop. Our capabilities and skill set embrace a wide range of industries both locally and Australia wide.
We have built our reputation within the manufacturing industry based on our reliability, quality and attention to detail. We are accredited with quality management systems ISO 9001:2015 and our safety and environmental systems are consistent with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Black Products Engineering will always strive to produce quality within a reasonable time frame.
Machining
Machining is an important capability within our business at Black Products Engineering. Our Trades people have considerable experience which is sought after and highly regarded in Queensland. We are proud to say that the high quality of manufacturing at Black Products Engineering range from one off items and highly specialised components right through to lengthy production runs via our CNC machines and equipment.
Our trades people have the training and experience required to operate both CNC and manual machines. Our CNC machining and milling centres produce the desired results for any project with high quality and fast production times while working to our customer specifications.
Fabrication and Welding
Our fabrication and welding team is an essential part of Black Products Engineering and the services which we provide. Our tradespeople have decades of experience both in Fabrication and Class 1 Welding which allow us to meet all the relevant requirements and qualifications to comply with Australian Standards AS1554: Part 1 to Part 6: 2014 our team is also experienced with the fabrication and welding of light to heavy metals. We are also specialised in the welding of components used in high fatigue/vibration environments. Our welding is completed to the highest of standards in readiness for non destructive testing which includes MPI and UT.
Within the scope of our fabrication and welding we also work with Carbon Steel; Low-Alloy Steels; Cr-Molly; all grades of Stainless Steel; Duplex- S/Duplex; Nickel Alloys and various other exotic metals.
Our Welding processes also include GTAW; MMAW; GMAW; Flux Core; Metal Core; and Sub Arc.
